Road to Fitness

I have always struggled with being bored at the gym because I don't know how to keep my workouts exciting - which is probably why I always rely on group fitness classes. While researching how to expand my gym routine, I realized that men's health websites are much more comprehensive so I've listed links below that I've been using to keep myself busy. I'm in the process of compiling a google doc (you know how much I LIVE for google docs) with all workout options that I will share shortly! I hope that sharing my journey and tracking my progress publicly will keep me accountable. My goal is to reach 18% body fat before Hawaii in February!

In the past 3 years I've switched from 24-hour Fitness, ClassPass, LA Fitness, Orange Theory and have now finally succumbed to the cult, Equinox. So far I'm absolutely loving it and would really recommend joining! Although the price tag seems steep, it's honestly worth every penny. The price is pretty comparable to boutique studio monthly fees. It provides me with high quality classes that kick my ass more than Orange Theory and Soul Cycle did. Only downside is no inclusive reformer pilates or hot yoga options at the Pasadena Location. Equipment and locker rooms are always clean and don't smell, locker rooms use Kiehl's body products, showers are spacious and don't have grime, has chilled eucalyptus towels, and in general has a less intimidating and comfortable environment for women (ladies you know how I feel). It's really the perfect one-stop shop.
